This class is designed as an interactive labor rehearsal class. Many positions and techniques will be introduced and practiced so you can decide what "works" best during pregnancy, labor and birth. You are encouraged to take Childbirth Prep or Natural Way Childbirth prior to or in concurrence with this class. This is not a lecture class. Due to the physical activity involved in the class (upright positions, squatting, kneeling, etc.) some positions are not recommended for certain high-risk pregnancies or women with joint problems. It is recommended that all expectant mothers consult their caregiver before participating in this class. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a pillow and beach towel to class.
